Set in the magnificent woodland of Burnham Beeches this is a unique opportunity to take part in a testing run organised by the Rotary Club of Burnham Beeches with the net proceeds from the race going to support local organisations, charities and Burnham Beeches National Nature Reserve.
This year we are extending the field to more runners by adding a one lap option (5K) to the usual two laps (10k).
'...the course today was stretching for all comers. It was well laid out and thoughtfully marshalled allowing the protagonists to tackle its climbs and descents at their own pace without bottlenecks or aggression. I thoroughly enjoyed the work out of this scenic event. My thanks to all involved. Joe'
'...really enjoyed the race and I'll be there next year. Well done to you all for an excellent event!'
'....I enjoyed the event greatly, particularly the variation of terrain, hills and picturesque setting.'
'....and thanks to all involved for a well-organised and challenging event. I know that a huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes to achieve this, and you pulled it off brilliantly. The good humour and encouragement of the marshals helped motivate us and was much appreciated. Pauline.'
'....thank you to you and all the volunteers for a great race yesterday. Although a tough course, the beautiful surroundings make up for it!'
